Admit the contract, not the ticker
Borrowability starts with canonical identity, the configured deployment, an approved valuation route, and explicit access policy.
Joining identity, valuation, and dependency state
Valtide is preparing isolated lending markets for eligible Robinhood Stock Tokens and lender-supplied USDG on chain 4663. Its central record joins asset admission, valuation route, credit envelope, and control state. The network and canonical assets are live; Valtide custody and execution remain gated by contract, audit, parameter, and liquidity receipts.
Borrowability starts with canonical identity, the configured deployment, an approved valuation route, and explicit access policy.
Every collateral type receives independent liquidity, parameters, and shortfall containment.
Weak evidence blocks new risk first while repayment and collateral addition stay available whenever possible.
The public price endpoint reports the raw underlying bid or ask. A token-equivalent reference value therefore applies the registry multiplier once.
raw token amount × raw bid × currentMultiplierOffchain display evidence only. It is not an executable collateral oracle.
The Chainlink Stock Token feed already returns the full multiplier-adjusted price for one token. Accounting reads the raw ERC-20 balance and the validated feed directly.
raw token balance × validated token priceThe adapter must normalize decimals, but must not apply currentMultiplier again.
Asset ID, registry status, and chain-4663 deployment all match the configured market.
The approved feed has a positive answer, expected decimals, acceptable freshness, and a healthy L2 sequencer.
No unresolved action, administrative pause, or multiplier transition makes accounting ambiguous.
An approved venue and realistic depth exist for a bounded collateral sale into the debt asset.
The interface and market can enforce applicable user and jurisdiction restrictions before access.
Normalizes the public Stock Token registry, raw quote surface, corporate actions, and point-in-time dependency status.
Must bind each isolated market to the canonical Robinhood Chain deployment before collateral enters accounting.
Must read the multiplier-adjusted onchain token feed, validate positive answers, freshness, sequencer state, and pause state, and never multiply that price again.
Would hold one collateral type, one USDG liquidity pool, and an independent loss budget.
Would record lender shares, borrower debt, utilization, interest accrual, repayment, and withdrawal claims.
Would enforce governed limits, operating modes, liquidations, loss isolation, and recovery actions.
Lenders deposit existing USDG into one isolated collateral market.
An eligible borrower deposits the configured Stock Token as collateral.
The borrower draws only available lender liquidity within every governed limit.
Repayment reduces debt and restores liquidity; adding collateral remains a protective action.
Lenders withdraw only when cash is available; borrowers withdraw collateral only while healthy.
Utilization is defined as borrowed USDG divided by supplied USDG. The mainnet implementation must define rounding, reserves, accrued interest, and unavailable cash precisely before this value is published.
Borrow and lender rates can be derived only from a published rate model and live pool state. Valtide displays no invented APY, utilization, or projected return today.
Stock Token feeds are designed around a 24/5 market. Freshness policy must therefore understand expected rounds, market closures, trading halts, corporate actions, and sequencer recovery instead of using one generic timer for every hour.
| Mode | Entry condition | Permitted actions | Exit condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | All evidence valid and liquidity within governed limits. | Borrow and healthy withdrawals allowed; repay and add collateral allowed. | A dependency or risk limit deteriorates. |
| Restricted | Thin liquidity, approaching staleness, market closure policy, or elevated volatility. | New risk blocked or reduced; repay and add collateral remain available. | Evidence normalizes, or a critical condition requires Paused mode. |
| Paused | Invalid or unexpectedly stale round, trading halt, oracle pause, sequencer outage, or critical incident. | Borrow and ordinary withdrawals blocked; repay and add collateral preserved. | Named checks pass and the governed cool-down or grace period completes. |
| Recovery | Bad debt, failed liquidation, or post-incident reconciliation. | No new risk; controlled resolution under disclosed recovery rules. | Accounting is reconciled and a time-delayed decision restores or retires the market. |
A position becomes eligible only from validated collateral value and governed debt accounting.
Partial liquidation is the default target, bounded by close factor and position health.
Collateral can be sold only through an approved executable venue with explicit slippage protection.
Any unresolved shortfall remains inside that isolated market under disclosed recovery rules.
An invalid or unexpectedly stale price should not trigger routine liquidation. It should first block new risk and move the market to a protective mode. Recovery from a genuine shortfall must not silently socialize losses across unrelated collateral markets.
Parameter expansion, adapter replacement, and market retirement require a published proposal and public time delay.
May quickly reduce ceilings or collateral factors, but cannot expand exposure through the fast path.
May pause risk-increasing actions, but cannot mint USDG, seize user assets, or resume a market silently.
Major accounting or custody changes require a new market version and explicit user migration rather than invisible mutation.
Narrow external-dependency adapters may change behind a delay, with code, scope, and activation time disclosed in advance.
Requires volatility, gap-risk, oracle, and liquidity simulation.
Requires executable market-depth evidence and adverse-price testing.
Requires a quantified loss budget for each isolated market.
Requires a published utilization model and observed pool behavior.
Requires feed-specific cadence plus market-hours and halt handling.
Requires keeper cost, slippage, and partial-liquidation analysis.
Requires recovery testing for Robinhood Chain infrastructure.
Requires an operational and security review of each permitted action.
Reframed Valtide as a Robinhood Chain mainnet launch candidate, verified the canonical USDG rail, and made contract, audit, parameter, and liquidity receipts explicit release gates.
Introduced the Valtide borrowability-record vocabulary and rewrote the public narrative around admission, valuation, credit boundaries, and control state.
Separated evidence-service status from protocol readiness, added asset-specific quote retrieval, responsive market cards, and current trading-capability handling.
Established the evidence model, isolated-liquidity lifecycle, market modes, liquidation boundaries, governance constraints, and unresolved risk parameters.
